County of Ventura 150th Anniversary

Ventura County’s 150th anniversary campaign was a vibrant tapestry woven through diverse marketing channels, inviting community members to participate in the festivities over 150 days of celebration.

The project began with an anniversary logo, captivating flyer, poster, and advertising design that included elements of the rich history of the area and fueled interest.

Online marketing efforts invited community members to explore the legacy of Ventura County, submit their vintage photos, and join in the conversation on social media.

Large format bus ads traversed the county, spreading the spirit of the sesquicentennial celebration and turning heads.

Traveling popup exhibits using a newly designed 20-foot canopy booth and photo backdrop included history, games, and a community showcase component.

Video wove together history and interviews. This multi-channel campaign effectively and beautifully spread the word across local networks and portrayed the positive effects of the County throughout its 10 cities.
