Santa Paula Unified School District CTE Program Logos

Career and Technical Education (CTE) helps students learn the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training they need to succeed in both college and career. Participating in a CTE program more than doubles the rate of college entrance for minority students*. High-risk students are also 8-10 times less likely to drop out in 11th and 12th grades if they enroll in a CTE program**.

For these reasons, the Santa Paula Unified School District (SPUSD) wanted to make their CTE program more visible to both students and parents. Searle was tasked with creating distinct logos for each of the District's Career & Technical Education Academies.

The result? Six individual logos for each of the academies, and a logo for the overall CTE program. Each logo features imagery related to its respective career area, and has a distinct color palette to differentiate it from the other academies. The CTE program logo draws on the lush landscapes of Santa Paula.
