Ready Ventura County Website

Ready Ventura County assists residents in preparing for, responding to and recovering from a local disaster. By providing information about local hazards and step-by-step preparedness education and materials, the initiative supports whole community resilience. Ready Ventura County is ran by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services (OES). In the event of a disaster, OES is responsible for operating the County’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC), which supports field operations and liaisons with all public and private disaster response agencies at all levels of government.

The new Ready Ventura County WordPress website was designed with clear/concise navigation and user experience to get residents to vital information in the most efficient manor. Custom icons and subtle animations keep the website visitors engaged and increase user retention.
